How Money Loop collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our web and mobile services.

Last updated: 27 March 2026

1. Introduction

Money Loop ("we", "us", or "our") provides personal finance tools, including web and mobile applications that help you track transactions, budgets, and insights. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our services.

By using Money Loop, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in (for example with Google), we receive identifiers and profile details provided by your authentication provider, such as name and email address.

Financial and transaction data. You may add or import transaction-related information — for example amounts, merchants, categories, account identifiers such as card last digits, and content you submit for parsing (such as SMS text, voice, or receipt images) where you choose to use those features.

Technical data. We may collect device or usage information needed to operate and secure the service (for example app version, crash diagnostics where enabled, and standard server logs in aggregated form).

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide core features: accounts, transactions, budgets, and insights
  • Process and categorize transactions, including with automated assistance
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable

4. AI and automated processing

Some features use automated systems (including AI) to interpret content you submit — for example to extract transaction fields from text or images. We design these processes to support your use of the product; we do not use your data to train public models for unrelated purposes unless we tell you otherwise and obtain any consent required by law.

5. Storage and service providers

We store and process data using reputable cloud infrastructure (for example Firebase / Google Cloud) with access limited to what is needed to run the service. We may use subprocessors for hosting, authentication, analytics, or notifications; they are bound by appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong authentication and protect your devices.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account subject to any legal retention requirements.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the details below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Children

Money Loop is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our servers or providers operate. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Money Loop after changes means you accept the updated policy.
